Stytch + Next.js 13 (using APP directory)

Does anyone know of solid resources to help get Stytch + Next.js 13 up and running correctly, using the “app” directory in Next 13 ?

The updated examples (from 3 weeks ago) use the ‘src’ directory.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Hayden – thanks for posting!

I’ll encourage any members of the community who may be using Stytch + Next.js 13 App Directory to chime in here, but I wanted to let you know that we at Stytch haven’t yet tested with App Directory internally. We do think that it may already be compatible with our headless JS SDK methods, but we haven’t tried it out ourselves.

I’ll note your interest internally so that Next.js 13 App Directory is on our radar, especially once it comes out of beta!

Awesome, thanks for the update!

Good day

With NextJS’s APP Router now stable, wondering when we may see updates to the B2C & B2B examples ?

Cheers :grinning:

Heya Hayden,

We’ve got some new resources for our B2C product for Next.js’s App Router: https://stytch.com/docs/example-apps/frontend/nextjs

It has both a guide on how to use Stytch with the App Router and an example app which I’ll also directly link to: https://stytch.com/docs/example-apps/frontend/nextjs

For B2B, the pattern will be exactly the same, but with B2B functions/methods instead of the B2C counterparts.

Best,
Christopher
